Biography
Ethan Jacobs is a 22-year-old tenor from London who is carving his path in the realm of music. He has jsut graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) under the tutelage of Paul Nilon. He is about to start his Masters's degree in vocal and operatic studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a scholarship next academic year under the Tuteledge of Christopher Turner.
From a young age, he worked with many local amateur theatre companies, performing in Pirates of Penzance and Iolanthe by Gilbert and Sullivan, and Orpheus in the Underworld by Offenbach which helped ignite his passion for operetta and Opera.

Alongside his opera work, Ethan has become involved with numerous ensembles, including the RNCM Chamber Choir under the direction of Stuart Overington, as well as the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and the National Youth Chamber Choir of Great Britain, both led by Ben Parry and Nicholas Chalmers. Through his participation in the Chamber Choir, Ethan has had the opportunity to record for television and recording labels and to perform at prestigious venues across Britain, including the renowned Royal Albert Hall, The Barbican, and Snape Maltings. During his tenure with the choir, he has performed a diverse range of repertoire, with notable highlights including choruses from Handel's "Messiah," Brahms' "Ein Deutsches Requiem" (with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra), and Mozart's "Requiem" (with the Britten Sinfonia) at the esteemed BBC Proms, as well as Bach’s motet, Singet Dem Herrn.
Through NYCGB he has also taken part in a variety of Learning and Engagement youth projects, primarily in parts of the country with less access to music and music hubs. Through these engagements, he hopes to share his love and passion for music with the next generation of musicians.
